SHIFT MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:  This position is the front-line representative of management and the Oglala Sioux Tribe, therefore, must represent professionalism at all times to everyone whether they may be in contact with the guests, employees, general public and co-workers.  Primary purpose is the protection of Casino assets, money, guests, and employees.  The Shift Manager is the administrator of Gaming Divisions of the Prairie Wind Casino, when on duty.  Incumbent is responsible to ensure stringent departmental compliance with the following: Federal & State labor laws; PWC policies and procedures; Tribal/State Gaming Compact; OST Ordinance 94-01 w/ amendments; OST Gaming Rules and Regulations; Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA); Title 31 regulations; OST Internal Controls Standards (TICS); Employee Handbook; department Policy & Procedures Manual.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You must show proof of COVID vaccine to apply for a position. Please attach a copy with your application. 

  • Must pass an alcohol and drug test.
  • Must apply for and obtain an OST Key License.
  • Must have valid Drivers License.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in Casino Gaming.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must have excellent customer relations.
